Alabama suspends three players

NCAA Basketball Betting Lines

02/11/2012 - Baton Rouge, LA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Alabama has suspended three players, including leading forward JaMychal Green, for a violation of team rules.

Green, who leads the Crimson Tide in scoring at 14.1 points per contest and in rebounding (7.2), was suspended prior to Alabama's road game Saturday night against LSU.

Also suspended were sophomore point guard Trevor Releford and junior guard Andrew Steele. Releford is the team's third-leading scorer (12.4 ppg) and Steele is averaging 5.8 points.

Earlier this week, the Crimson Tide suspended forward Tony Mitchell, who is the second-leading scorer and rebounder.

All four of the suspensions are indefinite.
